FileEdit extension is now available anywhere you see a file in Freedcamp.
Before this change to use FileEdit you had to go to Files in your project to launch it:
Now you can access it while editing a task if file needs to be updated – click file name(1) and select ‘Edit Online’ (2):
.. or even simply launch FileEdit to edit file without editing an item:

If I upload a file to a specific task, how do I have access to it if I forget the specific task? Is there a place to see all the files together?

If you know what project it is – go to Files app inside a project and search it https://freedcamp.com/Freedcamp_LxR/Freedcamp_Devel_yOf/wiki/wiki_public/view/Ygaab You can always jump to a context from it – a task or a comment a file was attached to.
