To give you a better view of your team’s tasks, we created custom grouping options for List view, Table view, and Kanban view.

Vertical Grouping

Instead of grouping by task lists, you can now group by other attributes, such as Progress, Priority, Assignee, Start Date, Due Date. You can also choose to not group by anything and have all your tasks in one section.

Horizontal Grouping

In Kanban View, there’s also the option of horizontal grouping. Instead of having columns based on progress status, you can now have columns based on Priority, List, Assignee, Start Date and Due Date.

Soon we will also launch custom progress statuses, which means one of our most requested features will finally be here: customizable progress columns.

Vertical + Horizontal Grouping

This is the most complex part of this new feature, and we’re really proud of it. It can give you an insight into your team’s work that’s way above what was available in Freedcamp before, and what is available in other project management tools right now.

For example: Sections: Assigned To + Columns : Due Date – will give you a vertical section with each assignee’s tasks, and a column for each due date. You can also add filters to exclude completed tasks and old due dates.
