We just released Tags for all Freedcamp users including the Free plan. You can add tags to Tasks, Milestones, Issues, Events, Time Tracking records, Wikis, Discussions, Files, even comments. Use Ctrl/Cmd+Click to search all items across all projects tagged the same. There is also global search with multiple tag selection.

Can you make tags be avaiable in the right sidebar on the tasks for easy atribution as well ?
Also if you can make widgets customized based on tags, I think it will be helpfull…

We need to review task views – as you know in Kanban we have them as | || and ||| icons on the top right, add the same to list view and add yet another Table view allowing you to select columns.
When this is done tags will be definitely a dedicated column option in Table view and may be added to ||| view in List and Kanban (probably first 2-3 tags only will be shown anyway – we have to limit as some clients add 10+ tags to items).

just started using freedcamp. The tags are a great addition, but a way to set which of these should be visible in the task views would be vital for the feature to be benefitial…
Is there a roadmap for how the task views will change?

We do all in iterations so expect | || and ||| views like in Kanban mode to be implemented better, added to List view with at least full (|||) view showing at least a few first tags with … to see more if you are a tag-maniac 🙂

Is Tag Editing on the roadmap? The Tags documentation mentions an option to edit tags that is available “yet” – and to “post your feedback to our feedback site with a prefix “Tags – your suggestion”. Nobody added Tag Editing function in the feedback. Should I add it there so it can be upvoted and added – or is it in dev?
